Floor van der Velde

Floor van der Velde is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an external communications advisor and spokesperson at Van Oord since January 2023. Prior to this role, Floor was a public information officer for the Democratic 66 party in the Dutch House of Parliament from November 2020 to December 2022. Earlier in 2018, Floor completed an internship in communication at The Hague Security Delta. Floor holds a Master of Science in Communication, Policy and Management from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences from the same institution. Floor also attended Leiden University and completed secondary education at Lyceum Oudehoven.
