Fritz Wiedemann

Fritz Wiedemann currently serves as the Managing Director of Van Oord Offshore Wind Germany GmbH and Head of HSE for offshore wind and oil & gas projects, overseeing a team of 10 HSE professionals and directing 60 project HSE Managers and Coordinators globally since October 2016. Prior to this role, Fritz was the QHSE Manager at Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems GmbH, responsible for major offshore wind projects and managing HSEQ throughout all phases of project development from design to installation. Earlier experience includes leadership positions in HSEQ at Harms Bergung, overseeing safety and quality across multiple vessels, and business ownership at Nango. Fritz's career began with the German Navy as a helicopter pilot and officer, where responsibilities included leadership roles in navigation and flying personnel management. Fritz holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg.
