Joost van Wiechen

Joost van Wiechen is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the offshore wind industry at Van Oord since October 2011, where roles have included Project Manager Offshore Wind, Manager Cable Unit, and Engineering Manager. Notable projects include engineering management for the Walney Offshore Wind Extension and Deutsche Bucht Offshore Wind Farm. Earlier positions include Environmental Engineer within the Estimating & Engineering Department and Project Engineer for the Challenge Consortium. Additional experiences span data analysis and research roles at institutions such as Data Analyse Ecology, TU Delft, and the Port of Rotterdam, complemented by an MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
