Koos Boom

Koos Boom has extensive experience in project management and construction management within the marine and dredging industry. Currently serving as a Construction Manager and Project Manager at Van Oord since January 2020, Koos has played multiple pivotal roles in the organization including Project Advisor for the Project Office Department and Project Manager for notable projects such as the Moin Container Terminal Project in Costa Rica. Previous roles include Manager of Drilling and Blasting at Wicks and Project Manager for the Hay Point Extension Project in Australia. Koos's career began in the 1990s as a Works Manager at HAM Dredging and Marine Contractors and has included significant tenures at Van Oord, where responsibilities expanded over nearly two decades, encompassing various project management roles.
