Mats van de Ven

Mats van de Ven is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in various roles within the tax sector. Currently serving as a Senior Tax Specialist at Van Oord since June 2022, Mats previously held the position of International Tax Manager at Action from April 2020 to May 2022. Mats gained valuable expertise at Deloitte, where roles included Senior Tax Consultant, Tax Consultant, and Tax Analyst from October 2015 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes a stint as a Research Consultant with Research Project Maastricht from March 2014 to June 2015 and an internship in tax at Stibbe in early 2013. Mats holds a Master's Degree in Tax Law - Direct Taxation and a Bachelor's Degree in Tax Law from Maastricht University, along with vocational training for Tax Advisers from Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs.
