Rob de Jong

Rob de Jong has over 20 years of experience in the offshore wind and marine contracting sectors, currently serving as the Manager of the Foundation & WTG Unit at Van Oord since July 2003. Notable roles include Project Manager for the design specifications of the new jack-up vessel "Boreas," Deputy Project Director for the windfarm Fryslan, and Package Manager for foundation and WTG procurement and installation at OWF Norther. Previous positions at Van Oord include roles in project and contracts management, engineering, and estimating, with early experience as a Design Engineer at Van Oord ACZ Marine Contractors B.V. Rob de Jong holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, awarded in 2001.
