Siavash Honardar

Siavash Honardar is a Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Van Oord since December 2020 and also serving as a Geotechnical Site Engineer for Fehmarn Belt Contractors since December 2022. Previously, Siavash worked at GelreGroen and Deltares as a Geotechnisch Adviseur and Graduate Research Intern, respectively, focusing on the geotechnical bearing capacity of timber piles. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Earth Sciences from Delft University of Technology, complemented by additional studies in Civil Engineering and a minor in Environmental Design. Siavash has contributed to academic settings as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Instructor at TU Delft, and as a Commissioner of Education at De Ondergrondse, emphasizing engagement and communication in educational initiatives.
