Qais Attarwala

Qais Attarwala has nine years of experience working at family-owned convenience stores and gas stations, where they learned bookkeeping, customer service, maintenance, and conflict resolution. At Aman Enterprise LLC, Qais integrated a loyalty program that boosted annual revenue to over $1 million. After that, Qais joined McMaster-Carr as a Full Stack Engineer, collaborating with UX designers to enhance the onboarding experience on mcmaster.com. Qais also developed a solution to migrate app configuration variables for pre-.NET Framework 3.5 apps and deploy them in Jenkins pipelines. Following this, Qais joined Sylvan Road Capital LLC, where they launched self-service tools to simplify capital redeployment, reject multiple assets in bulk asset purchases, and pull banking transactions securely from Wells Fargo. Finally, Qais worked at Classic City Consulting as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and built a custom web app for IHG Hotels and Resorts and added support for 15 languages. Currently, Qais is a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Van Robotics.

Qais Attarwala received their Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 2018. In 2021, they completed the Full Stack Web Development Nanodegree program from Udacity. Qais obtained additional certifications including MySQL, OOP and Design Patterns, and SystemsExpert from TestDome, React: Using TypeScript from LinkedIn, IELTS General Training 8.5 from IELTS Official, and Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. Qais also completed ASP.NET Core: Middleware, Building React and ASP.NET Core Applications, and Learning ASP.NET Core MVC from LinkedIn, HTTP Essential Training from LinkedIn, and Python Programming from General Assembly.
