Mark Johnson has a diverse range of work experience in video production and editing. Mark started their career in 1987 as a Video Specialist at MAI Basic Four, where they created sales and training videos. Mark then moved on to Kolbeco Productions in 1990, where they served as an Operations/Technical Supervisor. In 1992, they joined Mattel as a Video Engineer/Editor/Compressionist/DVD Authorer, and worked there until 2011. In 2001, they began working for AEG, VWSE, SD Padres, RedBull, and Anaheim Ducks as a Live Event Video Production Operator. Mark also joined AEG-Los Angeles Kings, Clippers, and Lakers in the same year, where they worked as a Video Replay, Evertz DreamCatcher/EVS Operator for Staples Center. In 2012, they joined Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment (VWSE) as a Video Replay Operator. In 2019, they became a Video Replay Operator at Pepsi Center, and in 2020, they worked as a Freelance editor for Mattel Toys and Video replay for Staples Center.
Mark Johnson attended Van Nuys Senior High School from 1975 to 1978, where they did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study. Mark went on to study at California State University, Northridge from 1978 to 1983, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Broadcasting.
