Paul Watkins has a diverse work experience in various roles within the sports and entertainment industry. Paul started their career in 1991 as an Announcer at WOW Radio and later worked as a Live Event Director at Mr Video Productions. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Rental Tech at Broadcast Rentals Inc. Paul then joined Audio Video Resources as a Rental Technology Engineer, where they worked in the Rental Department and also served as a Staff Editor, Videographer, and Network Jib op. In 2012, Paul Watkins became the Technical Director, Camera Op, and Editor at Church for the Nations, where they oversaw the broadcasting of their services. From 2014 onwards, they worked as a Camera Operator for the Arizona Diamondbacks and as an Engineer, Technical Director, Camera Operator, and Graphics professional for ASU Athletics at Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment (VWSE). In 2017, they joined the Arizona Coyotes as a Game Day Engineer and Technical Director. Currently, Paul Watkins is working at the Arizona Cardinals Football Club as the Online Content Editor and Video Department Director.

Paul Watkins attended Shawnee Mission Northwest from 1985 to 1987 and earned a diploma with a field of study in TV & Music. Paul then went on to pursue a degree in Photography at Metropolitan Community College-Business & Technology from 1988 to 1993.
