Cristobal Ibarguen

Cristobal Ibarguen is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with significant experience in technology and finance. As Co-Founder of Vana since July 2018, Cristobal has played a key role in establishing the company as a leading online lender in Latin America, providing tens of thousands of loans to underserved individuals. Additionally, Cristobal has been a Member of the Board of Directors and Co-Founder and CEO of Cognits since 2014, a firm dedicated to helping enterprises in America develop mobile applications and foster agile organizations, with a team of over 110 designers and developers. From 2016 to 2022, Cristobal served as General Partner for Invariantes Fund 1 & 2, focusing on building a portfolio of disruptive technology companies through seed and early-stage venture investments in the USA and LATAM. Cristobal holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquín and previously attended Colegio Americano de Guatemala.
