Sarah Kelehear is a Senior Ecologist at VHB since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in ecological research and education. Previously, Sarah worked as an Ecologist 2 at Arcadis from October 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included wetland and stream delineations and protected species surveys. Academic roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, focusing on Environmental Science and Biology labs, and as a Geographic Information Systems Technician, analyzing recreational usage data. Sarah's background also includes positions as a Seasonal Educator at the Tennessee Aquarium and an Interpretive Ranger at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, where skills in environmental education and public engagement were honed. Further wildlife experience was obtained as an Animal Keeper at St. Catherine's Island, with earlier roles focused on animal husbandry and environmental outreach. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University.
