Timothy Upton

Timothy Upton is an experienced professional in environmental affairs and energy services, currently serving as the Director of Energy Services at VHB since September 2018. Previously, Upton held the position of Manager of Environmental Affairs at Green Mountain Power, overseeing environmental and land use permitting for Vermont's largest electric utility from October 2012 to September 2018. Upton's career also includes a role as Manager of Environmental Affairs at Central Vermont Public Service and earlier experience as a Land Use Planner at the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission. Academically, Upton holds a Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, a Master of Science in Natural Resources Planning from the University of Vermont, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
