Candace P. Roberts

Candace P. Roberts, MSIS has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Candace began their career at S.P. Richards Company in 2004, where they worked as a Data Warehouse Specialist, gaining expertise in data modeling, architecture, project management, and data mining. In 2015, they joined Aptos Retail as a Senior Implementation Consultant, where they played a crucial role in implementing retail solutions. In 2017, they became a Data Analytics Instructor at General Assembly, sharing their knowledge with budding data professionals. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Intelligence at Vanco, where they lead the strategic development and implementation of business intelligence solutions.

Candace P. Roberts, MSIS, holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Austin, expected to be completed in 2022. Candace also has a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Shorter University and an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business from Georgia Highlands College. Candace has also completed various certifications, including a Product Management Course from General Assembly in 2022, a Data Science Course from General Assembly in 2021, and several LinkedIn certifications focused on bias, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Candace has also completed online courses in entrepreneurship, data modeling, data warehousing, Python, R, and obtained a MongoDB Certified Developer Associate certification.
