Emily Pearson

Emily Pearson is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability and community investment. Currently serving as a Sr. Consultant and Portfolio Manager at Vancity since May 2015, Emily's role focuses on advancing the Lighter Living ecosystem and promoting environmental initiatives. Previous experience includes consultancy and specialist positions in credit risk and payment solutions, alongside volunteer coordination at The Sharing Farm Society, where Emily developed volunteer programs and engagement strategies. Additionally, Emily operated a market garden through Urban Edibles Richmond, managing all aspects of the business while advocating for food security. Educational credentials include certificates in High Impact Leadership and Sustainable Business Leadership from the University of Cambridge and BCIT, respectively, as well as a B.A. in International Development from the University of Guelph.
