Raj Srinivasan

Board Director at Vancouver Clinic

Dr. Srinivasan holds a BS and MS in bioengineering. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine, as well as a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the University of Rochester in New York.

In 2007, Dr. Srinivasan moved to the Northwest to start the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Department at Vancouver Clinic. He was drawn to the specialty because the focus always is on the patient and not a test result or number. He enjoys taking care of both children and adults, and volunteers at Children’s Community Clinic in Portland.

As a parent of a child with asthma during infancy and pre-school age, he has gained enormous respect for our natural ability to heal with the right mix of careful intervention. Now that his son is older, he has outgrown asthma and deals with mostly Grass pollen allergies. These allergic problems can often be controlled, allowing for a much better and normal quality of life.

Dr. Srinivasan spent much of his life in Chicago, where he grew up, attended college and medical school. Now, he and his wife, along with their two children enjoy exploring the great northwest.
