Michelle Spacek, BSc, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of Medical Imaging at BC Children’s Hospital, BC Women’s Hospital, and BC Cancer Vancouver within the Provincial Health Services Authority, starting in December 2020. With a strong background in clinical informatics, Michelle previously held roles such as Clinical Informatics Lead and Clinical Informatics Specialist in the Clinical and Systems Transformation program. Additional experience includes positions as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Computed Tomography Technologist in Vancouver, a Medical Radiography Technologist at Seymour Health Centre, and an Account Manager at Canon Medical Systems Canada. Michelle's earlier experience also encompasses project management in health emergency management and medical radiography technology across various health facilities. Academically, Michelle holds a Bachelor's of Health Science with a Minor in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Medical Radiography from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, along with an Emergency Management Certificate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
