Johnny Lam

Johnny Lam, CISSP, CCNP, has extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as Manager of Infrastructure & Client Support and previously as an Information Technology Security Analyst at the Vancouver Police Department since April 2020. Responsibilities include monitoring infrastructure for security issues, conducting vulnerability assessments, documenting security incidents, and developing best practices for IT security. Prior roles at E-Comm 9-1-1 included Coordinator of Security and Risk Analyst, where Johnny analyzed firewall logs, set up user access monitoring, and created security standards, as well as Senior Network Specialist, focusing on network security automation and infrastructure projects. Johnny began in network support as a Network Technician, responsible for configuring networking devices and managing user access. Education was completed at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2008.
