Andre Hargunani

Andre Hargunani serves as the Director of Equity for Vancouver Public Schools since July 2022. Previously, Andre was the Founding Principal at Pacific Crest Online Academy, where a Multi-District Online School was established, and at Leona Libby Middle School, which became the highest-performing STEAM middle school in the Tri-Cities. As the Founding Principal of Augustus F. Hawkins High School, Andre contributed to the development of a systemically equitable STEAM institution in South Central Los Angeles. Additionally, experience includes roles as an Advisory Council Member for the University of California Curriculum Integration and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California. A Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from UCLA, and a Superintendent Certificate in Education Leadership from Washington State University comprise Andre's educational background.
