Restorative Practices Coach at Vancouver Public Schools

Emma Forslund, M.Ed., is an experienced Restorative Practices Coach at Vancouver Public Schools since August 2020, specializing in professional development related to restorative practices, anti-bias education, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Prior to this role, Emma served as a Restorative Practices District TOSA in Reynolds School District, where responsibilities included training, stakeholder collaboration, and developing implementation guides for restorative practices. Emma also worked as an Educational Consultant to support the adoption of restorative practices and interned at the National Center for Restorative Justice, focusing on assessment tool development for various school districts. Earlier experience includes serving as a 3rd Grade Lead Teacher at Capstone Educational Group. Emma holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at Lewis & Clark College.
