Matthew Baranowicz

Matt Baranowicz is an experienced athletic therapist currently serving as the Head Athletic Therapist for Vancouver Whitecaps FC, with a tenure beginning in October 2019. In addition to this role, Matt has held multiple positions within the organization, including First Assistant Athletic Therapist and Lead Academy Athletic Therapist. Since August 2023, Matt has also been affiliated with HEADCHECK Health. Prior professional experience includes roles at Mind to Muscle, SportSide Medical Services, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, Cambridge Centre For Health & Wellness, Guelph Performance Fitness & Therapy, and various positions during academic training at York University and the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University.
