David Caron

David Caron has a solid background in finance and auditing. David started their career as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they planned, managed, and supervised financial statement audits for various clients. In 2002, they joined Lafarge as a Senior Internal Auditor, where they evaluated internal control environments for SOX 404 compliance and reviewed SEC filings. David later became the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis and then the Director of Finance. In 2013, Caron moved to Continental Building Products as the Director of Finance. Currently, they are the Senior Director of R&D Finance at Vanda Pharmaceuticals.

David Caron obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University, where they studied from 1993 to 2007. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (Inactive) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. and as a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) from the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy.
