Melissa Nowak

Melissa Nowak, MSW, is an experienced professional in the neuroscience pharmaceutical sector, currently serving as a Senior Neuroscience Account Manager at Vanda Pharmaceuticals since February 2017. In this role, Melissa has promoted the anti-psychotic Fanapt and launched Hetlioz, an orphan drug for Non-24 Sleep Wake Disorder. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an Executive Neuroscience Sales Representative at Eli Lilly and Company for nearly two decades, successfully promoting key neuroscience products and launching several significant medications. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Senior Counselor in mental health services at Horizon Health Services and BestSelf Behavioral Health, where Melissa provided assessments, treatment planning, and support to individuals with severe mental illness. Melissa holds a Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University.
