Vandemoortele
Audrey Riviere is a Senior Expert in Food Safety and Microbiology at Vandemoortele since October 2015, with a strong academic background in bioengineering sciences. Riviere obtained a Ph.D. from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, supported by a fellowship from FWO-Vlaanderen, where the research focused on the meat fermentation process. An international research stay was completed at the INAF - Université Laval, concentrating on food science and nutrition. Earlier academic experiences include a master thesis project at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an internship at Tereos Syral, a leading producer in the sweetener and starch industry. Riviere holds a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering Sciences with a focus on Chemistry and Bioprocess Technology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a secondary school diploma in Mathematics Sciences from Maerlant Atheneum.
