Karthikeyan Ambalavanan is a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with a robust background in managing Oracle databases across various organizations. Currently serving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since October 2016, Karthikeyan has previously held senior roles at HCA (Parallon) and Syntel, where extensive expertise in Oracle RAC databases, high availability, and disaster recovery was demonstrated. Notable skills include installation and upgrade of Oracle Grid Infrastructure, performance tuning using ADDM and AWR reports, and implementation of RMAN for backup and recovery.
