Nick Pickhard

Nick Pickhard has a diverse background in business intelligence and data analysis. Nick currently works as the Principal Business Intelligence Developer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they are responsible for developing data-driven solutions to improve patient quality and safety. Prior to this role, Nick held positions as a Sr. BI Developer and BI Developer at the same organization.

Before joining Vanderbilt University, Nick worked as a Data Architect at WEA Trust, where they played a key role in architecting data solutions for health insurance operations. Nick also served as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Developer at UnityPoint Health and a Business Intelligence Analyst at Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation.

Earlier in their career, Nick worked as a Data Warehouse Engineer/Scrum Master/Product Owner at Performance Gateway, where they were responsible for designing and building reporting solutions and managing Agile development processes. Nick also held the roles of IT Operations Manager and Business Analyst at the same company.

Nick's work experience dates back to 2003 when they served as an Operations Manager at Insignia. Overall, they have a strong background in business intelligence, data architecture, and data analysis, with a focus on improving organizational processes and decision-making through data-driven solutions.

Nick Pickhard received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Personal Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Epic, including EpicCare Ambulatory Administration Certified in 2019, Clarity Data Model - Resolute Professional Billing Certified in 2018, and Clarity Data Model - EpicCare Ambulatory Certified in 2017.
