Tyler Barrett

Tyler Barrett serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Compliance and an Emergency Medicine Physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In addition to these roles, Tyler is involved in the Advancement and Promotions Committee within the Department of Emergency Medicine. Academic appointments include Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Tyler also serves as the Team Emergency Medicine Physician for the Nashville Predators. Previous experience includes Chief Resident and Resident Physician in Emergency Medicine at UCLA Health System, and a Transitional Year Intern Physician at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Tyler's educational background includes a Clinical Investigation Master's degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and participation in the Tennessee Medical Association John Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership Lab in 2020.
