Alda Burston

Alda Burston currently serves as the NATA Liaison for USA Lacrosse at the National Athletic Trainers' Association, a position held since February 2024. Alda has extensive experience in athletic training, with a current role as Associate Athletic Trainer at Vanderbilt University, responsible for cheer, dance, women's bowling, and women's lacrosse teams. Previous positions include Sports Medicine Volunteer for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Athletic Trainer for women's basketball and other women's sports at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and an Athletic Training Intern for both the Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Dream WNBA team. Alda also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Virginia. Education includes a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University.
