Amber Palmer-Halma

Amber Palmer-Halma is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in higher education and strategic communications. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Communications at Vanderbilt University, Amber designs and implements communication strategies while facilitating collaboration among over 160 university partners. Previous roles include Interim Editor-in-Chief of Vanderbilt Magazine, Associate Director of Communications Strategy for the Office of the Provost, and Director of Communications at LEAD Public Schools. Amber also operates a consulting firm and has served as an adjunct professor at Belmont University. With a Master's degree in Communications from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Whitworth University, Amber brings a robust educational background to their work in communication and public relations.
