Avery Howard

Avery Howard serves as the Senior Director of Donor Experience at Vanderbilt University since November 2024 and is also an Associate at The DRG Group, a consultancy focused on fundraising counsel founded by Lynne Wester. Previously, Avery held several leadership roles at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, including Director of Stewardship and Interim Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations, where responsibilities included data integrity in Endowment Reporting and strategic stewardship direction for the Division of Student Life. Earlier experience includes a Sales Associate position at American Eagle Outfitters and a Student Assistant role in New Student & Family Programs at the University of Tennessee. Avery earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
