Celia Walker

Celia Walker currently serves as the Associate University Librarian for Community Engagement at Vanderbilt University, a role assumed in June 2023. Previously, Celia held multiple positions at Vanderbilt University, including Associate University Librarian for Distinctive Collections, Engagement and Strategic Assessment, where responsibilities included overseeing the Office of Assessment, Communication & Engagement, Special Collections Library, University Archives, History of Medicine Collection, and Digital Imaging and Preservation. With a background in the arts, Celia also worked as the Senior Curator of American Art at Cheekwood Museum of Art and served as a consultant at Fisk University. Academic qualifications include a BA in Fine Arts from Emory University, an MA in Art History from Vanderbilt University, and an MS in Library Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
