David Florian

David Florian is an Assistant Professor of the Practice of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Vanderbilt University, where experiences include serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Researcher focused on 3D printed tissue constructs and bone cancer under the guidance of Scott Guelcher. Prior research experience includes work as a Researcher at Monash University, involving magnesium stent design and corrosion testing of laser sintered metals. David Florian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
