Hollis Calhoun is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in strategic affairs and communications across various esteemed organizations. Currently serving as Chief Communications Officer and Executive Director of Strategic Affairs & Communications at Vanderbilt University's College of Arts and Science since September 2018, Hollis previously held key roles at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, including Chief of Staff and Director of External Affairs. Additional experience spans roles as a Strategic Communications Consultant, Director of Marketing and Communications at Freelancers Union, and Senior Associate positions at Spitfire Strategies and The Pew Charitable Trusts.
