Currently serving as President of the Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering Grad Student Steering Committee and working as a Research Assistant in Medical Imaging and Deep Learning, Lucas has a strong foundation in advanced computer science applications. Prior experience includes roles as an AI Undergraduate Research Assistant and President of the ACM Student Chapter at Middle Tennessee State University from January 2018 to May 2020, where Lucas organized professional development and networking events for computer science students, along with experience as an iOS Developer.
