Walter Chazin

Walter Chazin is a distinguished professor and researcher currently serving as the Chancellor's Chair in Medicine and Professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry at Vanderbilt University, a position held since 1999. In addition to teaching, Walter Chazin directs the Center for Structural Biology. Prior to this role, experience includes serving as the Director of Structural Biology at The Scripps Research Institute from 1986 to 1999, where responsibilities encompassed various faculty positions including Assistant and Associate Professor. Walter Chazin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Concordia University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from McGill University.
