Yiorgos Kostoulas

Yiorgos Kostoulas serves as a Professor and Director of General Engineering at Vanderbilt University, overseeing the Engineering Science Program and the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management since 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a Licensing Analyst at Vanderbilt University focused on the commercialization of engineering and physical science technologies, and as an Associate Professor at T.E.I. of Western Macedonia, where teaching and research centered on nanocomposite materials and semiconductor physics. Additional experience includes positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Technology Licensing Officer and at Brooks Automation as a Product Management Consultant. Yiorgos Kostoulas also held leadership roles in marketing and product management at Accent Optical Technologies and ADE Corporation, respectively, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from the University of Rochester and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and New Ventures from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
