Michael Struik

Michael Struik is an experienced professional in system integration and product management, currently serving as the Platform Integration Manager and Product Owner for the System Team at Vanderlande since November 2017. In this role, Michael is responsible for the test and integration strategy for the ADAPTO product, coordinating efforts among over ten internal development teams and co-development partners across multiple countries. Previous positions at Vanderlande include System Integration Engineer and R&D Graduate Intern, where a Model-Based Design approach was utilized for improving system capacities. Earlier, Michael completed an R&D internship focused on 2D camera applications for 3D pose estimation and worked as a Concept/Feasibility Engineer while pursuing a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, where both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering were earned. Additionally, Michael contributed as an Aerodynamics Engineer & Race Strategist for Solar Team Eindhoven, playing a key role in the design of solar cars for the World Solar Challenge.
