Rahul Chavan

Rahul Chavan is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of airport baggage handling systems and packaging machinery. Currently serving as a Senior Research & Development Mechanical Engineer at Vanderlande since May 2021, Rahul focuses on product PLM and platform development. Prior to this role, Rahul worked as a Design Engineer at Sidel from July 2018 to May 2021, specializing in the design and development of stretch blow moulding machines. Earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Neilsoft from December 2014 to June 2018, contributing to the design of industrial machines and conveying equipment. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering.
