Melissa Slotta

Melissa Slotta is an experienced attorney currently employed at Vandeveer Garzia, PC since January 2013, where responsibilities include representing clients in court proceedings and drafting various legal documents focused on no-fault law, contract issues, copyright and trademark infringement, and negligence. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Steven A. Wright P.C. from December 2010 to December 2012, where accomplishments included serving as first-chair in a bench trial and managing motions and case evaluations in contract and business law. Earlier legal experience includes law clerk positions at Disability Attorneys of Michigan and the Office of the General Counsel for Detroit Public Schools, where significant research and drafting work was performed. Melissa holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School, a Master's in Public Health from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and General Sciences from Central Michigan University.
