VP – Business Operations And Human Capital at Vandstrom

Meron F. Cherenet has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They started their career at AquaZ Inc. in 2007 as a Senior Research Associate, specializing in the formation and optimization of polymer and lipid vesicles. In 2007, they also took on the role of CEO at AZEthiopian Coffee Export, managing a team of coffee export managers and overseeing business strategy and problem-solving.

In 2017, Meron joined Vandstrom as the Head of Business Processes & Administration, where they were responsible for managing and optimizing business operations. They later moved on to become the Sr. Director of Business Processes, focusing on improving and streamlining internal processes. As of 2024, Meron holds the role of VP – Business Operations and Human Capital at Vandstrom, indicating their progression and increasing responsibilities within the company.

Alongside their professional roles, Meron also served as a Young Adults Mentor in the Bennie Mentor Program at the College of Saint Benedict in 2018, showcasing their commitment to mentorship and community involvement.

Meron F. Cherenet completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business & Value Based Leadership from Xavier University from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Biology with a focus on Microbiology from the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University from 2003 to 2007.
