Richard Song is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where Richard works in the Perception Plasticity and Learning Lab exploring latent-space neural manifold topology underlying episodic learning states. Richard has also been a Teaching Assistant for an Intro Neuroscience course. Additionally, Richard has gained research experience at The University of Tokyo, Boys Town National Research Hospital, and Cisco, where Richard worked on projects related to neuroscience, dendritic spines, and the Internet of Things. Richard is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University.
