George Hassapis

George P. Hassapis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. George P. is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Vanguard Logistics Services, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Nippon Express USA as the General Counsel and VP of the Corporate Strategy Division from October 2017 to July 2019. At Nippon Express USA, they were responsible for managing all legal matters, overseeing M&A activity, and ensuring compliance across the enterprise.

Before their time at Nippon Express, Hassapis worked at UTi Worldwide as the Vice President and General Counsel from July 2011 to June 2016. Additionally, they worked as a partner at Roberts & Kehagiaras, where they provided compliance, transportation, and customs advice and handled business transactions from November 2009 to July 2011.

Hassapis also held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Stinnes Corporation from September 2007 to April 2009, after being transferred from BAX Global Inc. due to the sale of the company. George P. started their career at BAX Global Inc. as Assistant General Counsel in June 2004, where they reviewed and negotiated customer and vendor contracts, handled real estate transactions, and ensured compliance with transportation regulations.
