Angelo Brisimitzakis

Angelo Brisimitzakis is an experienced executive with a diverse background in leadership across various industries including private equity and biotechnology. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at Advent International since 2013 and as a Board Member for multiple companies such as Vanguard Packaging, Probiotic Holdings (where Angelo also holds the title of Chairman), and Michigan Potash & Salt Company. Brisimitzakis has a notable history in corporate governance, having served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Corporate Directors’ Heartland Chapter and previously at Alpha Natural Resources and BioJuvant. Angelo's earlier roles include CEO of Compass Minerals and Division President at Great Lakes Chemical, complemented by a foundational career at General Electric. Angelo Brisimitzakis holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University, an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, and a BS in Chemistry from Wagner College.
