David Valentini

David Valentini has over 20 years of experience in display and package design. David started their career as a Packaging Design Engineer at Pine Valley Packaging, where they designed packaging for the automotive and electronic industry. David then moved on to Hughes Container and Decorr, where they worked as a Structural Design Engineer, designing corrugated displays and containers.

In 1999, David joined Protagon Display Group as a Senior Structural Designer, specializing in designing various types of POP displays. David continued their career at Smurfit-MBI as a Structural Designer, where they designed corrugated displays and specialty containers.

David's extensive experience in display design led him to Vanguard Packaging, where they held the role of Creative GO TO guy for over 12 years. David designed and rendered POP displays using different materials and worked directly with Walmart buyers on PDQ programs. In 2019, they were promoted to Director of Business Development, leveraging their expertise in display and package design to help clients create efficient and effective merchandising plans.

Aside from their work in the packaging industry, David also has experience in coaching ice hockey. David worked as an Assistant Coach, Co Head Coach, and General Manager for the Men's Ice Hockey team at the University of Arkansas.

Additionally, David is the owner of The Northern Mash Baseball Co. - Mash Bats, a wood bat making company where they cover all aspects of production, from sales and marketing to packaging and shipping. David has sold bats to little leaguers and MLB players.

Through their various roles, David has gained significant knowledge in sales, working with tight deadlines, and utilizing design software such as ArtiosCad and Kongsberg cutting table.

David Valentini started their education at George Brown College from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSID). After completing their time at George Brown College, David Valentini enrolled at Scottsdale Community College in 1993. However, their stay at Scottsdale Community College was relatively short, as they completed their studies in the same year. During this time, David Valentini focused on the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, with a degree in Baseball.
