Douglas Barthold

Douglas Barthold has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Douglas currently holds the position of Sr. Electrical Engineer at Vanguard Protex Global, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Yamaha Guitar Group from April 2007 to February 2023, and at Line 6 from 2007 until February 2023. Douglas also has experience as a Reliability Engineer at Haman Consumer Group from 1999 to 2006, and as an Engineer at Alesis from 1992 to 1996.

Douglas Barthold attended Lehigh University from 1984 to 1990 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their time at Lehigh University, Douglas has obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they completed a course on "Hardware Description Languages for FPGA Design" at Coursera. Douglas also completed two other courses in October 2022: "FPGA Softcore Processors and IP Acquisition" and "Introduction to FPGA Design for Embedded Systems," both from Coursera as well.
