Billy Kepner

Billy Kepner is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Communications Manager at Vanguard Renewables since November 2021, Kepner previously held the positions of Director of Communications for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor in Rhode Island and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications for the Providence City Council, where oversight of communications and marketing programs was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes roles at Social Enterprise Greenhouse, Cornell University, and the Paleontological Research Institution, among others, showcasing a robust background in public relations, marketing strategies, and team management. Kepner holds a BA in Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations, Speech Communication, and Marketing from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
