Babs Hansen, MS, is a seasoned professional in User Experience and Interactive Design with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Product Owner and Associate Director of UX Strategy at Vanguard since September 2018, Babs has spearheaded the UX strategic vision for the redesign of the Personal Investor Public Site and facilitated a major migration to AEM. As an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson University since August 2023, Babs inspires graduate students in a hands-on UX/ID course. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Digital Art Director and UX Designer at Merkle, Inc., where innovative marketing campaigns significantly increased client engagement, and as Assistant Art Director at CFM Direct, contributing to award-winning direct mail packages. Earlier experience as Art Director at Philth Magazine involved creative direction for a local fashion and lifestyle publication. Babs holds a Master’s Degree in User Experience / Interactive Design from Thomas Jefferson University and a B.S. in Graphic Design from Drexel University.
