Max Purcell

Max Purcell is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as the Lead Investment Stewardship Analyst APAC at Vanguard since September 2025. Prior to this role, Max held several leadership positions at Sodali & Co from March 2020 to September 2025, including Director of Corporate Governance. Max also worked as a Senior Analyst at Godfrey Remuneration Group (GRG) from August 2016 to March 2020 and briefly served as an Equity Plan Administrator during a secondment at Cochlear in 2019. Earlier in the career, Max gained experience as a Payroll Processor at Pays Australia from February 2013 to August 2016. Max holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Macquarie University and completed the Higher School Certificate at Sydney Church of England Grammar School (SHORE).
