Svetlana Pitts

Svetlana Pitts, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Medical Writer at Vaniam Group since October 2023. Previously, Svetlana held roles such as Manager of Portfolio Strategy & Competitive Intelligence at Immunocore, where responsibilities included monitoring oncology programs and delivering insights to stakeholders. Experience also includes positions at Reata Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Analyst in Business Analytics & Portfolio Strategy, where Svetlana triaged new neurological indications for pipeline development. At UNT Health Science Center, Svetlana developed and managed seed grant programs, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center, conducted gene therapy research. Academic background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from UT Southwestern Medical Center, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
