Alexis Ducros

Alexis Ducros is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Vanilla Steel. Previously, they were an Entrepreneur In Residence at thyssenkrupp Steel, working closely with the board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe. Alexis also launched and managed Kardham Connect, a mobile platform to deploy digital services within smart buildings. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of upday in France where they oversaw the launch of the mobile news platform and grew it to become the #1 news app in France with 4 million monthly active users. Before their work in the tech industry, Alexis worked in strategy and finance as a freelance consultant for Woolworths Limited and as the Founder and CEO of Backseat.

Alexis Ducros has a Masters in International Management from ESCP Business School. Alexis also has a certification from the Financial Services Authorities - London in FSA - Unit 01 - Financial Regulations, FSA - Unit 02 - Securities, and FSA - Unit 03 - Derivatives.
